Anna Lou Cochrane

Anna Lou Cochrane 91, died October 9, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  She was born January 2, 1927 to Glenn and Katherine Beinhart Clubb near Sigourney. She attended Sigourney schools. On December 28, 1946 she married Leland Charles Cochrane in Sigourney. They lived and farmed in the Lancaster area and moved to Sigourney in 1967.  She was employed by M&W Auction and Nimtz Tasty Freeze. She enjoyed playing cards, walking and spending the winters in Texas for over 20 years.  She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and the Lancaster Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on September 5, 2002, a grandchild Melissa Cochrane, a sister Eileen Nimtz, and three brothers Delbert, Kenneth and Keith Clubb.

She is survived by her children Gary ( Ellen) Cochrane of Council Bluffs, Jerry (Joan) Cochrane of Marion, LuAnn (Jim) Engle of Pleasant Hill, eight grandchildren Ken (Dawn) Cochrane,  Brent (Cela) Cochrane, Brad (Brandy) Cochrane, Kelli (William) Forney, Jason (Kelsey) Cochrane, Elise Cochrane, Evan and Faith Engle, 11 great - grandchildren, and brother Stanley (Louise) Clubb of Mexico, Missouri.
