Arthur "Dick" Streigle

Arthur Dick Streigle, 78, died January 20, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. He was born August 30, 1934 to Arthur Delbert and Minnie Pearl Stull Streigle near Sigourney. He graduated from Sigourney High School in 1952. Dick served in the United States Air Force from 1954-1958 earning the rank of Staff Sergeant. On February 14, 1959 he married Loretta L. Baumert at the Christian Church in Keota. In 1958 he started Dick's Home Auto which he owned and operated until retirement in 2012. He served on the Keokuk County Posse from 1976- 1980 and was a Sigourney volunteer fireman.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Loretta, children Sue (Pat) Pfannebecker of Hedrick, Kathy (Greg) Brower of Richland, Arthur (Diana) Streigle of Pontiac, MO, Alisca (Doug) de Regnier of North English, Aaron (Tammy) Streigle of Sigourney, 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, brother Marion Streigle, step-brother Leon Streigle of Delta, two step-sisters Doris Dawson of Iowa City, Lois Stanley of Wilton, CT.

Burial: Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Military Honors
