Betty Alderson

Betty Ann Alderson, 78, died December 2, 2021 at her home in Sigourney, Iowa.  She was born March 5, 1943 to Benjamim Henry and Letha Leora Ulin Seaba near Sigourney.  She attended Sigourney High School. On May 23, 1959 she married Rodger Alderson at the Christian Church parsonage in Delta.  She was employed at Amana Refrigeration for 32 years and 20 years at the Sigourney Care Center. Betty and Rodger lived in Delta for many years moving to Sigourney in 2003. Betty enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Delta United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband Rodger, children Janice (Brian) Veach of Grinnell, Larry  (Angie) Alderson of Sigourney, Danny Alderson of North Liberty, Bonnie Clubb of Sigourney, Penny  (Rick) Tuttle of Victor, Darrin (Lisa) Alderson of Oskaloosa, 13 grandchildren , 18 great grandchildren, 3 brothers Donald (Caroline) Seaba, Gordon Seaba and Stanley (Betty) Seaba.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Earlene Morrison, brothers Kenneth, Eugene and Keith Seaba and son-in-law Paul Clubb.
