Claude W. Denison passed away on June 28, 2014 in Sigourney, Iowa. He was born in on Feb. 19, 1919 to Burton and Emma Eckhandt Denison in Wellman, Iowa. On October 12, 1940 he married Dorothy Kathleen Snider. Claude served honorably in World War II. He was employed by Sigourney Oil for over 40 years. He was a member of the Sigourney Christian Church and a member of the VFW for 64 years. He will be remembered with great love and affection.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy K. (Snider) Denison of 67 years and an infant son, Michael Lee, sisters, Hazel (Denison) Moffit, Lilah (Denison) Voss and Dorothy (Denison) White and brother, Carl Denison.
He is the loving Father and Father-in-Law of Bob and Marcia (Copeland) Denison of Imperial, MO, Grandfather of Scott and Laura (Potter) of Moscow Mills, MO and Lori Denison of Los Angeles, CA, and Great Grandfather of Evan Denison. Brother of Ada (Denison) Kleese of Washington, Iowa. Dear Uncle, Great Uncle, Great-Great Uncle, cousin and friend of many.
