David Finch

David Finch, 64, died December 19, 2024 at the Windsor Place in Sigourney, Iowa. He was born September 7, 1960, to Stanley Wayne and Mary Flanegan Finch in Sigourney. He graduated from Sigourney High School and graduated from Indian Hills and UNI. On June 19, 1999, he married Breha White Noel at his parents’ home. David was employed at Kinzie from 1996 to 2014. He worked for Lyle Dumont later did various jobs around Sigourney. He owned and operated the Wild Iowa Zoo from 1998 until 2002, having lions. tigers, kangaroos and many different exotic animals. David enjoyed being outside, working on cars, bee keeping, fishing, and rock hunting. 

He was preceded in death by his Father Stanley Finch and his grandparents Glenn and Dorothy Finch, Dwight and Mae Flanegan, niece Katherine Lucas. 

 He is survived by his wife Breha of Sigourney, children Joshaua Finch of Sigourney, Anthony Finch of Keota, Zoe Finch of Sigourney, grandson Dean, Mother Mary Finch of Sigourney, his siblings Julie (Tom) Lucas of Sigourney, Doug (Ruth) Finch of Centerville Sally (Jeff) Farrier of Agency, Ken (Tammy) Finch of New Sharon, Brian (Michelle) Finch of Oskaloosa, and several nieces and nephews.
