Dean Seaba

Dean Ernest Seaba, 93, died June 16, 2023, in Sigourney, Iowa. He was born August 4, 1929 to Roy and Louise Vandament Seaba near Lancaster, Iowa. He graduated from Sigourney High School in 1947.  Dean served in the United States Army from December 1952 to December 1954. On December 3, 1953 he married Marcalene Elsie Bonnater in Riverside, California.  They lived and farmed near Lancaster on the family farm.  Dean loved Angus cattle.  They showed draft ponies for 25 years at the Iowa State Fair and won draft team at the State Fair 1991, 1994, and 1996 and they pulled ponies all over the state of Iowa for 10 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Marcalene on October 18, 2008, son Lynn Seaba, sister Bernadine Gordon.

He is survived by his grandson Justin Seaba of Sturgis, South Dakota, granddaughter Jennifer Dvorak of Cushing, Iowa, four great grandchildren, two great great granchildern, and sister Sarah Taylor.
