Denis Seaba

Denis Carl Seaba, 91, died August 27, 2021 at the Manor House in Sigourney.  He was born January 20, 1930 to Frank and Mary (Ollinger) Seaba in Sigourney.  He graduated from Sigourney High School in 1949.  On April 20, 1954 he married Marguerite Catherine Mallinger at St. Mary Catholic Church in Sigourney.  Denis served in the National Guard. He was employed by Conner Brothers Construction, Kingsberry Homes, and the Keokuk County Courthouse. He enjoyed bowling and woodworking.  Denis loved dancing with Marguerite, for over 40 years on Sundays they enjoyed dancing the jitterbug, waltzes, polkas and two stepping. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Sigourney.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Marguerite on March 19, 2020, sister Geraldine Pacha, daughter-in-law Peggy Sue Seaba.

He is survived by son David Seaba of Sigourney, granddaughter April Seaba of Ottumwa great -grandson Kennedy Seaba Wilkerson of Fairfield, brother Dale (Neva) Seaba of La Junta, Colorado.
