Dennis "Denny" Clubb

Dennis “Denny” Lynn Clubb, 66, died October 31, 2019 at the Compass Memorial Healthcare in Marengo, Iowa.  He was born August 10, 1953 to Forrest Everett and Helen Marie (Fritchen) Clubb in Sigourney.  He graduated from Sigourney High School in 1971. On October 21, 1972 he married Jane Lisk at the Delta Methodist Church.   Denny was employed by the State of Iowa for 35 years by the Iowa Beer and Liquor and the Department of Human Services.  They owned and operated the Clubb House in Sigourney for several years.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycling, playing cards, joke telling, the Iowa State Fair, and the Iowa Hawkeyes.  He attended all of his children’s activities. Most importantly Denny loved his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Cyndi Zimmerman.
He is survived by his wife Jane of Sigourney, children Shelley (Larry) Gaston of Bondurant and Wesley (Devon) Clubb of DeSmet, South Dakota, four grandchildren Griffin Clubb, Neva Clubb, Nash Clubb, and Myles Gaston,  brother Jeff (Barb) Clubb of Sigourney, and nieces and nephews.
