Dorothy Denison

Dorothy Kathleen Denison, 85, of Sigourney, died April 28, 2008 at the University Hospital in Iowa City She was born March 2, 1923 near Wellman, Iowa to Nicholas S. and Amy Folger Snider. She graduated from Sigourney High School in 1940. On October 12, 1940 she married Claude W. Denison in Sigourney. She was employed at the Keokuk County Social Services Department and later at the Sigourney Public Library for 17 years. She was a member of the Sigourney Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband Claude, son Bob and his wife Marcia Denison of Barnhart, Missouri, grandchildren Lori Denison of Dallas, Texas , Scott and his wife Laura Denison of Moscow Mills, Missouri, great - grandchild Evan Denison, and sister - in - law Ada Kleese of Washington
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son Michael.
