Ella Williamson

Ella Williamson, 99, died July 12, 2013 at the Sigourney Care Center in Sigourney, Iowa. She was born May 13, 1914 to Edward and Ella Ahrenholz DeVries in Woodstock, Minnesota. She attended school in Calhoun County, Iowa. On April 6, 1935 she married George Williamson in Lake City, Iowa. They lived in Lake City and moved to Bemidji, Minnesota and farmed 40 years. Ella moved to southeast Iowa in 1990.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George on June 28, 1989, one son Wayne Williamson, an infant daughter Irene Williamson, one sister Etta DeVries, three brothers Martin, Herman and John DeVries.
She is survived by her children Allen Williamson of Silver Bay, Minnesota, Eileen McBeth of Keswick, Iowa, seven grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren, one brother Lubbert DeVries of Lake City. Iowa.

Graveside Service: 2:00 P.M. Monday July 15, 2013 at East Liberty Cemetery near Lidderdale, Iowa.
