Eugene Spicer

Eugene David Spicer 84, died December 24, 2021 at Windsor Place Senior Living in Sigourney, Iowa. He was born June 25, 1937 to David Spicer and Buela Rousch Spicer in Elgin, Illinois.  He attended school in Elgin and served in the United States Navy. On July 30, 1960 he married Karen Klein and they later divorced. Eugene was a service repairman for Spicer Appliance in Elgin. He moved to Iowa and he owned and operated Spicer Appliance in Ottumwa. He retired and moved to Hayesville in 2006.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Step-brother Pete Leonard, two step sisters Alice Seisser and Bernice Behr.
He is survived by his daughter Donna Spicer of Sigourney and son Dale Spicer of Sigourney.
