Edith Eugenia Elmore, 92, died November 8, 2020 at the Keokuk County Health Center in Sigourney. She was born March 3, 1928 to Arthur Arnold and Mary Susan (Moore) Craig in Blythedale Missouri. She graduated from Blythedale High School. She married Harley Wayne Elmore and together they lived throughout Northwest Missouri and Iowa. Edith was an excellent cook and worked at numerous restaurants in Southeast Iowa. She owned and operated Midtown Café in Delta in the mid 70’s. She babysat and loved little kids.
She is survived by her children Arnold (Judy) Elmore of Lubbock, TX; Rebecca ( David) McFarland of Riverside, IA; Marcia Scott of Mt. Home, AR; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; sister Jeanelle Craig of Bethany, MO; son-in-law Eldon Dale Jr. of Sigourney.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Sue Dale, granddaughter-in-law Jennifer McFarland, brother Darryl Craig, sisters Beatrice Leedy and Helen Craig.
