Helen Kolosick

Helen Kolosick of Tucson, AZ, formerly of Delta died Jan. 15, 2008 at her daughter's home. She was born Feb. 12, 1913 in Hills, Iowa to Albert Joseph and Romana Birrer Schilse. She attended school near Hills. On Dec. 29, 1934, she married Clarence Kolosick. Helen was a cook for many years in Sigourney and surrounding areas and was well known for her homemade rolls and doughnuts. She loved her big garden and sharing her bounties.

She was preceded in death by Clarence on Sept. 13, 1990. and her parents

Surviving are a son Dale and wife Judy Kolosick of Binghamton, NY;
son Joe and wife Cindy Kolosick of Marion, Iowa and daughter Emma and husband Phil Adam of Tucson, AZ., 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service 10:30 am Monday at St Mary Catholic Church in Sigourney. Father Marty Goetz and Deacon Jim Striegel officiating. Burial Garrett Cemetery near Delta. Arrangements by Holm Funeral Home in Sigourney.
