Jack Flanegin

Jack Flanegin, 76 died May 13, 2013 at the Keokuk County Health Center in Sigourney, Iowa. He was born July 13, 1936 to William Bert and Rena Myrtle Christy Flanegin on Bosworth , Missouri. He graduated from Sigourney High School in 1954. He served in the United States Air Force form 1954 - 1958 where he served as a mechanic for the Thunder Birds. On April 9, 1960 he married Sondra Lois Dobbins at the Sigourney Christian Church. He was employed at G& H International, farmed with his Dad. He farmed southwest of Sigourney all of his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Sondra on October 21, 1995.
He is survived by his children Michelle (Dave) Herman of Sigourney, Mark (Connie) Flanegin of Harper, Peggy (Bo) Minarik of Two Rivers Wisconsin, Paula (Greg) Rasplicka of Sigourney, Dan (Vonn) Flanegin of Oskaloosa, 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, three sisters Reta Streigle of Sigourney, Betty Fry of Marion, Doris Bales of Viola, and a brother Kelly Flanegin of Sigourney.

Burial: Conner Cemetery
Visitation: Wednesday 5:00 - 8:00 p. m. at the Holm Funeral Home
