Jack Lawrance

Donald Jack Lawrance, 80, died June 26, 2010 at Crystal Heights Care Center in Oskaloosa. Iowa. He was born May 25, 1930 near Delta, Iowa to William "Bill" Esley and Margaret Aletta Snodgrass Lawrance. He graduated from Delta High School in 1948. He served in the United States Air Force. On July 22, 1950 he married Miriam Louise Roberts at the Delta Methodist Church,with Rev. J. A. Worrell officiating. Jack lived and farmed in the Delta area allof his life. He was a co owner of J&J Feed Service in What Cheer. He was a member of the Delta United Methodist Church, Delta American Legion, and Delta Fire Board. Jack enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Paul Lawrance.
He is survived by his wife Miriam, son Tom Lawrance of Oskaloosa, granddaughter Rylie Tromp, two nephews Gary and wife Connie Lawrance, Neil Lawrance both of Madrid, Iowa, and a niece Gail Brooke of Woodward, Iowa.

Burial- Garrett Cemetery near Delta
Visitation after 5:00p.m. Monday at the Holm Funeral Home in Sigourney.
Memorials are to the Delta Methodist Church, Delta Christian Church, or the Delta Fire Dept.
