Jan Probst

Mary Janice Probst, 81, died January 6, 2019 at Northern Mahaska Specialty Care in Oskaloosa, Iowa. She was born November 24, 1936 to Doris Smith and Norman Green in Sigourney, Iowa She attended Sigourney High School.  She married George Morton and Robert Probst and they later divorced. Jan was employed at various places, the last ones being Adventureland Park and Prairie Meadows. She was a spitfire that always had an opinion.  Jan helped and cook for anyone she could.  She enjoyed traveling around the USA, going on cruises, crocheting and loved her family with all her heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Ernest and Melvin Green.
She is survived by her children Christa Morton (Randy Lawless) of Monroe, Robert Probst of Delta, Theresa Probst of Delta, four grandchildren Stacy Strong, Ashley Probst, Sara Probst and Nathan Smith, 12 great grandchildren, special friend Raymond Hunter, sister Patty, and sister in law LaDonna  Green.
