Joe Allen Ladely, 65, died July 7, 2024 at his home in Delta, Iowa. He was born November 20, 1958 to Harold and Janalene Clubb Ladely in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Joe attended school in Sigourney, he received his GED and enlisted in the United States Army from 1974 – 1977 he served in Hawaii as a structure specialist . On February 17, 1989 he married Sherry Miller at the Keokuk County Courthouse in Sigourney. He worked as a mechanic and roofer in Cedar Rapids. In 1990 they moved to Delta. Joe was employed at Ideal Ready Mix for 13 years. In 2004 he started his own a trucking business retiring in 2016. He loved to tinker and being a mechanic in his shop. Joe enjoyed fishing with his friends and spending time with his dog Barney. 

He was preceded in death by his father Harold, sister Cheryle Nelson and brother Jim Ladely.

He is survived by his wife Sherry, children: Jason (Robin) Butler of Ottumwa, Casey Ladely of Sigourney, Travis (Brandon Morris) of Des Moines, 6 grandchildren, Mother Jan Ingle of Delta, Siblings: Bruce (Teresa)Ladely of Bloomfield, Anita Gorsh of Williamsburg, Shelly Jean Richey of Ottumwa, Joni (Charles) Rhoades of Germanville, Jan Fredrick of Webster, Edna (Brett) Payne of Oskaloosa and Kerri Schwarts of Sigourney.
