John Edward Seiwert

John Edward Seiwert, 74, died January 30, 2008 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. He was born September 11,1933 in Keswick, Iowa to Clemens Peter and Ruth Morrison Seiwert. He graduated from Sigourney High School in 1950. He lived and farmed with his parents east of Sigourney. In 1989 they moved to Sigourney and had been a resident at the Manor House Care Center for the last six years. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Sigourney. He enjoyed playing cards and watching the Iowa Hawkeye's.

He was preceded in death by his father and one nephew.

Those left to mourn his passing is his mother Ruth Seiwert of Sigourney, brother Keith Seiwert of Sarasota, Florida, sister Marilyn Sieren of Sigourney, nine nieces and one nephew.

Funeral Service - Saturday February 2, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. at St Mary Catholic Church in Sigourney with Father Rich Adam.

Burial - Pleasant Grove Cemetery Sigourney
