Larry "Butch" Martin

Larry Dean "Butch" Martin, 64, died January 18, 2017, at his home near Hayesville, Iowa. He was born December 6, 1952 to Ernest Leroy and Bernice Imogene Eiliott Martin in Sigourney, Iowa. He attended West Lancaster No. 6, Hayesville Community schools, and graduated from Sigourney High School in 1971. On August 31, 1984 he married Crystal Kay Lippard at the Delta Methodist Church in Delta, Iowa. Butch was employed by MIE Construction, Schott Implement, McKim Tractor and the Keokuk County Highway Department, retiring April 30, 2016. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping with his sons.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and brother- in-law Karen and Melvin Foubert, and his mother- in- law Beverly Lippard.

He is survived by his wife, two sons Trever Dean Martin of Sigourney, Travis Ernest Martin (Patricia Snook) of Sigourney, one daughter Tiffany LuAnn (James) Rominger of Lovilia, two granddaughters Jillian and Alexis Rominger, one grandson Joshua Martin, one brother Gary (Janet) Martin of Sigourney, sister-in- laws Cheryl Husband and Camille (Marty) Eckles, brother- in- law Charles (Dorothy) Lippard, his father- in- law Wallace Lippard and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Sunday January 22, 2017, 2:00 - 5:00 P.M. Holm Funeral Home.
