Leonard Lisk

Harold Leonard Lisk, 84, died at Vista Wood Care Center in Ottumwa, Iowa He was born January 24, 1929 to Harry and Beryl Thatcher Lisk near Delta, Iowa. He graduated from Delta High School in 1947. Leonard started to farm with Dad and worked at John Morrell. He served in the United States Air Force from 1950 - 1955. After his discharge he returned to farming and working at John Morrell until its closing in 1973 and farmed until1983. He married Martha Jean Tanner and they later divorced. Later he was employed at the University Hospital for 13 years and retired in 1994. He moved to North Liberty in 1987 and was a member of the Delta Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Henrietta Walsh and one great grandson.
Those left to mourn his passing are his children Jane (Denny) Clubb of Sigourney, Susan (Terry) Shannon of Ottumwa, Kevin Lisk of Creston, 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service: Tuesday - January 28, 2014 at 10:30 A.M.at the Holm Funeral Home in Sigourney
Visitation: Monday 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.
Burial: Tioga, Cemetery Rose Hill, Iowa.
