Lucille Northup

Lucille Sarah Ann Northup, 91, died August 13, 2016 at the Keokuk County Health Center. She was born November 2, 1924 east of Sigourney to William and Grace Myers Fairchild. She attended county school at Stoney Point. On February 28, 1947 she married Gerald James Northup in Fairfield, Iowa. They lived and farmed east of Sigourney until Gerald's death. In 1998 she moved to Sigourney. She was a member of Stoney Point Hustlers and Bethel United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gerald on July 10, 1997, two sons Lyle Gene Northup and Gale Northup, 4 brothers Homer, Howard, Hubert, and Harley Fairchild, and sister Ruth Cole.

She is survived by a grandson Chad Northup of Bloomington, MN, two great-grandchildren, one brother Larry Fairchild of Sigourney, and many nieces and nephews.

Burial: Rock Creek Cemetery
