Lydia Heath

Lydia Elizabeth Heath passed away September 26, 2012 at the Van Buren County Hospital with her family and loved ones present. She was born February 12, 1919 at Harper, Iowa to Ed and Kate McMillan. On August 3, 1957 she married Forrest Dale Heath in Amarillo, Texas.
She was a mother and homemaker had raised seven girls Jean LeClair, Loretta Ferree, Gladys McCrimmon, Gloria Bailey, Iris Rieck, Elizabeth Buchwald, Rosalie Curry.
Lydia loved raising a garden and loved outdoor activities boating and fishing. She enjoyed working as a cook at St. Lukes Hospital and later worked at Kingsbury Homes before retiring.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Forrest on May 3, 1992, three daughters Jean LeClair, Loretta Ferree and Rosalie Curry, two great grandchildren, her parents Ed and Kate McMillan, three brothers Albert Dell, Ben and Kenneth McMillan
She is survived by four daughters Gladys McCrimmon of Duncanville, Texas, Gloria Bailey of Floris, Iowa, Iris Rieck of Hubert, North Carolina, Elizabeth Buchwald of Ames, 25 grandchildren, 57 great - grandchildren, 14 great- great grandchildren.

Funeral Service: Saturday, September 29,2012 at 11:00 A.M. Holm Funeral Home - Sigourney
Visitation: Saturday, 10:00 A.M.
Burial: Bethel Cemetery East of Sigourney
