Norma Bell

Norma Bell, 89, died December 8, 2021 at her home in Sigourney, Iowa.  She was born September 18, 1932 to Lorna Geneva Koopman Parker in Mahaska County, Iowa.  She graduated from Oskaloosa High School. On January 25, 1953 she married William “Bill” Bell in Sigourney.   She was a bookkeeper at Nutrena for many years.  She lived in Arizona for a few years then returning back to Sigourney.  Norma was an avid antique collector, loved going to garage and estate sales. She also enjoyed traveling.

She is survived by her children Sharon (Gary) Odekirk of Wittmann, Arizona, Mike Bell of Sigourney, Jay Bell (Amy Nelson) of Oskaloosa, two grandchildren Melanie Proctor and Madeline Bell, two great-grandchildren Brea Armstrong and Jason Armstong, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, husband William “Bill” Bell on August 24, 1989, and grandson Mathew Proctor
