Sharon Dumont

Sharon Kay Dumont, 67, died May 13, 2013 at the Manor House in Sigourney, Iowa. She was born April 5, 1946 to Alfred Noel and Katherine Kerr Walker in Springfield, Illinois. She graduated from Sigourney High School in 1964. Sharon was married in November of 1966 and later divorced. She was employed by Baumert and Gerard, John Wehr and later a Civil Deputy for the Keokuk County Sheriff Department for 24 years. She loved to read, go on long walks with her dog Cody and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Kathy and Noel Walker and her beloved dog Cody.
She is survived by her daughter Kim (Craig) Moore of Sigourney, two grandchildren James and Josephine Moore, two brothers Orlan Walker of Braxton, Georgia, Rich (Marj) Walker of Victor, sister Susan Smith of Schaumburg, Illinois best friend Ruth Manchester and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. Thursday
Burial: Garrett Cemetery Delta, Iowa
