Sheila Diane Clubb, 76, died January 18, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. She was born January 17, 1949, to Clark and Betty Anthony Northcutt in Oskaloosa. She graduated from Pekin High School in 1967. On June 17, 1967, she married Kenneth John Clubb at St. Joesph Catholic Church in What Cheer. They owned and operated Sheila’s Dairy Sweet for 6 years. Sheila was a stay-at-home mom while raising their children. She graduated from William Penn College in 1991, with a degree in Elementary Education and was a substitute teacher. She later taught at Sigourney High School, retiring in 2010. Sheila enjoyed ancestry research, puzzles, traveling and caring for her family. She was a former member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Altar Rosary Society, Iowa Retired School personal, bowling league, card club, and the Red Hats. She loved being a mother, grandmother, and aunt and she was always on the side of the underdog. She loved all animals, especially horses and dogs
She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather Bob Emry and sister Dee Emry.
She is survived by her husband John, son Brandon Clubb of Sigourney, daughter Amy (Tim) Bevins of Cedar Rapids, grandson Spencer Bevins, Siblings Randy (Bill) Northcutt, Greg (Becky) Northcutt, Barb (Stanley) Echleberry, and many nieces, nephews, brother and sister in laws.
Visitation Wednesday January 22, 2025 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Holm Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: Thursday January 23, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at the Holm Funeral Home
Burial: Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Sigourney.
