Virginia R. Weber, 90, died April 24, 2019 at the Manor House in Sigourney, Iowa. She was born June 14, 1928 to Michael Laborius and Irene Mathilda Sieren Greiner. She graduated from the 8th grade from Ss, Peter and Paul Catholic School. On June 17, 1946 she married Edward William Weber at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church at Clear Creek. They farmed at Talleyrand and later moved and farmed northeast of Sigourney in 1951. She was a former member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church at Clear Creek, and a member of Holy Trinity Parish, the Altar and Rosary Society and the Listen a Bit Club.
She was preceded in death by her parent, her husband Ed on March 15, 1998, two daughters Rita Jean Altenhofen, and Bonnie Sellers and grandson Jason Weber, eight brothers Herbert, Keith, Edward, LeRoy, LaVerne, Dennis, Mike and Larry Greiner, two sisters Darlene Yates and Kathleen Greiner.
She is survived by her children Steve (Judy) Weber of Sigourney, Glen (Carol) Weber of Sigourney, Carol Ann (Chad) Liddle of Denver, IA, nine grandchildren, eighteen great- grandchildren. One brother Ronald Greiner of Arlington, TX, two sisters Mary Ann Carson of Corpus Christi TX and Betty Jean Hassle of Coon Rapids, MN.
