Willard "Junior" Decker

Willard (Junior) Decker 94, died November 11, 2023, at the Manor House in Sigourney, Iowa.  He was born July 2, 1929 near Sigourney to Willard A. Decker and Georgina E. (Owens) Decker.  He graduated from Sigourney High School.   He enlisted in the United States Air Force on January 20, 1950 to January 19, 1954.  On August 6, 1953 he married Donna Jean Dale at the United Methodist Church in Sigourney.  After the Air Force Junior worked for the City of Sigourney, Plank Plumbing, Iowa Culvert Builders and later started his own plumbing business. Junior enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapping. Donna and Junior enjoyed camping and going to Old Threshers.

   He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Donna on  July 15, 2018 brothers Harold “Bill” Decker, Leroy Decker,  Infant James Decker, Wayne “Swede” Decker and one sister Darlene Thomas, nieces and nephews Billy Decker, Dennis Decker, Doug Decker, Jim Decker Angela Decker, and Debra Asher. 

  He is survived by his son David (Rabbi) (Deb) Decker of What Cheer, several grandchildren, many nieces and nephews brother-in-laws Richard Stewart of Delta, Larry Stewart of Georgia, and sister-in-law Donna Decker of Sigourney.
